1.What is the funniest thing you remember as a child?
Being a military family combined with living on a horse farm has had a profound impact on my life. The combination of two lifestyles has taught me strength, resilience, perseverance and respect for life. This lifestyle coupled with other life experiences has led me to firmly believe in the "Butterfly Effect" ~ little things that happen in your life can have a huge impact on your future.

2.What is the one piece of clothing you wish you owned?
Animals have been a huge part of my life, my entire life. Before I could walk, I could ride a horse alone. Growing up on the farm, leads to witnessing many experiences as well as numerous veterinarian visits with countless procedures. Starting in Kindergarten, my dream was to become a veterinarian; I continue to pursue this dream today. My love of animals is how my platform came about "If You Can't Feed It-Don't Breed It”.

3.What season of the year is your favorite and why?
I didn’t grow up the typical "girly girl", when I was little I loathed the color pink. My mom has always said that I was born in the wrong Era. Little house on the prairie was my favorite show and I always loved to dress like Laura Ingalls Wilder. From braided pig tales to old fashioned dresses, shoes and hats… or a simple pair of cowgirl boots and jeans.

4.What is your favorite movie?
I've had the privilege of being a part of several great clubs, organizations teams and competitions. I’ve earned personal and team affiliated awards and most recently I was awarded the FFA Scholarship and Horticulture Award. I truly believe this is helping me prepare for a bachelor’s degree in Equine Science, on to earning my undergraduate degree(s), followed by a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

5.What song makes you think of yourself?
When I was 16, a nodule was found on the side of my neck which was a follicular hurthle cell carcinoma in a nodule, attached to my thyroid. My personal journey with cancer and a thyroid disorder has given another mission in life… Thyroid Awareness! I believe the combination of my personal life experiences and being Miss Teen Illinois International has given me the wings to create the Butterfly Effect in accomplishing great things.
